Offshore trips are a great way to gain experience. The maximum number of guests is 6. The crew will consist of the captain and mate, in the case of the picture above 'Kapitein Rob'. Together we ensure a safe and secure passage. We share weather routing and navigational planning and we are not afraid of technical challenges along the way. Food and drinks on board are included, but transport to and from the yacht are not. Everyone can participate in the planning and navigation of the voyage. The crew will be happy to explain and will assign the guest to the active participation (if so wished) according to their level of competence. Beds are made upon arrival.
In 2018 we sailed from our berth at the Marina di Scarlino, to the Greek Dodecanese waters.
We left Scarlino for Catania in Sicily. We passed-by Ponza, Ischia, Capri. Then Stromboli, where we anchored underneath the vulcano. Then via the Straight of Messina en route to Siracusa in Sicily.
Then from Siracusa we sailed in force 6 to 7 bft the 320 nautical miles to Patras. Via the Cortinthian channel passing North of Mikonos we enjoyed the Meltemi on our way to Samos and the Patmos.
I skippered myself on these trips guiding the crew through the seas, whilst enjoying the art of sailing on this Grand Old Lady, to the fullest. It was a safe and relaxed journey passing and visiting beautiful places along the way.
In the 2019 season we are set to cruise Corsica and North East Sardinia.
